Spring 23 Legal Studies 694 Informational Meeting/Orientation
September 16, 2022 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm CDT
We will be offering our internship course Legal Studies 694: Field Observation in Criminal Justice and Legal Studies next spring and have scheduled a required informational meeting/orientation for Friday, September 16 from 12pm to 1pm in 8417 Sewell Social Sciences for interested students to explain our pre-internship placement process.
This required informational meeting/orientation will be followed by an optional lunch at 1pm with past interns. The past interns are happy to answer questions about their internship experience.
Please RSVP for our meeting. If you are unable to attend, please still complete the RSVP as there is an option for requesting a make-up meeting.
To be eligible for our spring internship course, students need to participate in the full pre-internship placement process, starting with this introductory meeting.
The course is restricted to declared Criminal Justice and Legal Studies students who have at least junior standing. It satisfies the group 6 requirement for the CJ certificate and the theme group 2 requirement for the Legal Studies major.
If interested in pursuing a spring internship through our program, please plan to attend the orientation.
