Ja’Lia Butler graduated from UW-Madison in 2021 where she majored in Political Science and Legal Studies with a certificate in Criminal Justice. After graduating, Ja’Lia took a gap year before returning to Madison to law school. She worked at the Wisconsin Department of Justice and then at a local law firm full-time. Ja’Lia has developed an interest in Election and Political Law as well as Criminal Law. Something that she loves most about the CLSJ program is the dedication the staff put into ensuring their students have the best opportunities and experiences possible.
