Original internship with the WI Department of Justice, State Crime Lab
Unfortunately, COVID-19 put an end to my internship at the Wisconsin State Crime Lab before it could begin. However, I still gained invaluable knowledge through my Summer Term criminal justice courses. I was also able to make connections with forensic analysts at the Crime Lab, albeit remotely rather than in person. I learned so much this summer, and I can’t wait to apply what I’ve learned to my chosen field of forensic genetics. I’m so excited to graduate in spring and become a forensic analyst myself!
