Interned with the Waukesha County District Attorney’s Office

My summer internship at the Waukesha County District Attorney’s Office was one of the best experiences I have ever had. I got to see and do so many interesting things. I got to sit in on two murder trials and attend many sentencings and hearings. I worked on many different projects for the attorneys at the office involving cases such as OWI, sexual assault, possession of marijuana, and homicide. This internship opened my eyes to the immense crime that is happening around us every day. I am so fortunate to have been immersed in the criminal justice system and gain this valuable experience.

I am going into my senior year of undergrad this fall and hopefully will be attending law school once I graduate. This internship has brought me one step closer to fulfilling my goal of becoming a lawyer!
