Interned at Mendota Mental Health Institute
Interning at Mendota Mental Health Institute for ten weeks was an impactful and memorable experience. It was valuable to experience what I learn in the classroom in a work setting. I had the opportunity to interact with patients who are battling severe mental illness, tutor juveniles in math and science and see firsthand the intersection of psychology and criminal justice through my internship. I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the Criminal Justice certificate program and to be selected for the Audrey Harris Family scholarship.
