Interned at UW Law School Family Court Clinic
Thanks to the Audrey J. Harris Internship Award, I was able to pursue a hands-on learning experience that furthered my interest in family law. Working at the Family Court Clinic has been a learning opportunity I have been deeply grateful for. As I was allowed to work directly with low-income members of our community, I gained a deep appreciation for the legal field and members of the profession who use their expertise to help those in need. I also gained insight into the processes and methods of the family court which I could in turn use to educate those in need of legal aid. Overall, being able to interact and work directly with clients help solidify the concepts I had been learning in my courses into real, tangible examples
