Each fall and spring the Center for Law, Society & Justice and the Department of Sociology hold a speed mentoring event to provide our students and community members with an opportunity to connect. The event is organized as ten ten-minute rounds of one-on-one conversations.
Event Timeline:
5:45 Student and Mentors arrive- check in at registration tables, help self to food/drink
6:00 Welcome and Mentor Intros
6:10 Round one begins
7:00 10 min break after 5 rounds, help self to food/drink
7:10 Round six begins
8:00 Round ten concludes
8:00+ Informal conversations with other mentors/mentees, help self to food/drink
